P. Erbes, B. Jedinák a kol.
režie: Petr Erbes, Boris Jedinák
A private event
The Club of Wine Connoisseurs has kept the secret of top quality wine for six hundred years. Long-refined knowledge has been passed down from generation to generation and is a guarantee of the highest quality.
During this traditional ball, there will be a tasting of fine wines from around the world. By no means will we hold discussions on the expansion of a secret transnational network by means of which we will take power in the world. We will sample the finest long-ripened cheeses and we will definitely not look for ways to subtly give non club members a false idea of freedom and democracy in order to control them more easily. In no way will we try to spread the slogan ‘equality, harmony, brotherhood’, which, like a voracious worm, eats away at the foundations of states. There will be pleasant live music for listening and dancing. It is completely out of the question that there will be occult chants in honour of the father founder of our club. The Board of the Club of Wine Connoisseurs is looking forward to seeing you soon.
The directorial and dramaturgical duo Petr Erbes (1991) and Boris Jedinák (1990) belong to a group of talented young artists and recent graduates of the Department of Alternative and Puppet Theatre of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague who are associated in the art group 8people. In the productions they write, often based on real stories or events, they place emphasis on an open stage form, with the active involvement of the audience and, above all, themes that resonate with the contemporary social situation.
